Pro Touring Stance
Lower Your Tri-Five and Raise Some Attention!
We are now offering our "Pro Touring Stance" option that will lower your Tri-Five giving it that mean, on the ground, stance while maintaining all handling and ride capabilities.  This is done through the use of custom fabricated cross members that raise the suspension up in the frame. This retains the original geometry, handling, and travel of the stock Heidt's Superide suspension while giving a stance that is sure to get noticed.

Approximate ride height of an original 55-57 Chevy at the rocker panels is 11-12 inches.  The Pro-Touring Stance will put your rocker panels 6 inches off the ground!

Sculpted Front and Rear Frame Rail Section

Roadster Shop Tri-Five frame is the only one on the market using sculpted front and rear frame rail sections instead of bent square tubing.  These rails are fabricated out of 10 gauge steel and will give your Tri-Five Chevy a truly unique look!  Not only do these rails give a cleaner and more trick appearance, they also follow the factory specs much closer than bent square tubing.  Design modifications have been made that allow for the use wider wheels and tires and the use of a Heidt's Superide Independent Front Suspension which is designed specifically for this application.  Our Chassis also allows all of the original factory components to bolt directly to the chassis instead of using spacers, or extensions. The Frame Rail Build Process
Tri-Five Frame Rail Jig

Notice the entire frame rail is welded both inside and out for superior strength!

At work in the shop

Custom diamond gussets are used to join the front and rear rail sections to the center section.  This ensures superior dimensional strength for an unbreakable joint.

Here is a completely welded frame rail.  From here the 4th side is welded in giving you a completely boxed frame rail

The frame rail is completely boxed and then ground smooth.
